Specialists at The Ashe Center

All specialist visits require a referral from your Ashe Primary Care Provider (PCP) before scheduling an appointment.

If you have a referral for one of the specialists above, please call Ashe to schedule your appointment at 310-825-4073, Option 1, Option 1. *For Physical Therapy appointments, please call 310-794-4923.

If you don't have a referral and you want to see a specialist above, you must schedule an appointment with your Ashe PCP by clicking here.

If you received a referral from your Ashe PCP for a specialist that is not listed above, you can view and/or print your referral from the "Referrals" tab on the Patient Portal home page. Please wait until your referral status says "ACTIVE" before calling the department to schedule your appointment. The contact information for that department will be listed on the referral.

If you are enrolled in UCSHIP and need to find an in-network provider for your referral, you can use your StudentHealth app or go to Anthem's online listings to search for in-network providers, clinics and hospitals in your area. How to search the online listings:

1. If you know your Member ID number or your Student ID number, enter it in the "Existing Member Search", or you can click on the "Use your identification number or alpha prefix to search without logging in", then enter "XDP".
2. On the next screen,
a. Select a state: California
b. Select a plan: UCSHIP
c. Choose "Select" and "Continue"
3. Contact the provider you select to confirm he/she is still an Anthem Blue cross Prudent Buyer network participating provider, as this can change at any time.
a. UC Family providers will have the highest provider reimbursement followed by Anthem network providers.
